MITTEN EXPRESS.......

IM SPREADING THE WORD ABOUT MITTEN EXPRESS. THEY ADMITTED THEY DAMAGED OUR CAR WHILE LOADING. BUT WHEN IT CAME TO PAYING THEY DISAPPEARED. THEY HIRED A ROOKIE DIEVER & SRARED THEY HAVE PLENTY OF INSURENCE BUT DIDNT COME THROUGH.

you might want to let us in on what you are talking about...who are they ? where are they? do they deal on RJ ? give us something . what you have posted is of no use to anybody , sorry..

they are out of the chicago, ill area. the company is car hauling company.

damaged the car loading it then refused to pay.

and the name of the Car hauler is Mitten Express?? I am curious cuz I am getting ready to have a car hauled from Ohio to Nevada.

First of all there are 2 sides to every story.... there was great damage to this car already.... he just wanted someone else to pay for it... the driver said he would pay for the little damage he did but they needed to agree on a price and this guy wanted the whole thing fixed at the drivers expense.... SO NO it hasn't been pay yet !! THE OWNER OF THIS UNIT WAS THERE WHEN IT WAS LOADED AND HE WAS HELPING THE DRIVER AND NEVER SAID A WORD TO STOP THE DRIVER. HE JUST LET IT HAPPEN !!! That tells me that your just wanting someone else to pay for your mishaps.... Its not even this guys car, the money needs to be payed to the owner of the car.... AND IT WILL BE !!!

Yes there is always 2 sides to every story.

Now does anybody have any proof that the car was damaged before it was put on the trailer. Inspection sheet, photos. If so lets see them. The only way that anybody can prove if they are a scammer or an honest person is to provide proof.

I was just agreeing with you that there are 2 sides to every story. The point I am trying to make is that we need to see proof from both sides if they got it. We stay nuetral here on the Forums UNTIL someone proves that their compliant is real or if they were trying to get over on an honest man.

And I got slow internet too. :twisted: :P :P :P :shock:

YES THERE IS AN INSPECTION SHEET NOTING THE OTHER DAMAGE AND IT WAS SIGNED BY THE OWNER ~ LIKE I SAID THERE WAS A LITTLE DAMAGE BUT THEY WANTED THE DRIVER TO PAY FOR ALL THE OTHER DAMAGE WHICH WAS NOT FAIR...... THEY TOOK IT TO THERE BODY MAN AND CAME UP WITH AN UNREASONABLE AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR THE REPAIRS.

As a body man myself I know it is exspensive to run a body shop. So what might seem to be an unreasonable amount may be normal for me. Is there a way you can scan that inspection sheet and post it on here??

O K totalsbc , you are up..did car already have damage??? lets get this cleared up and move on. got any photos of before and after , anything to show that your claim is on the up and up???

It should be as simple as having an adjuster from the haulers Insurance Co. go give an estimate on the car.

That depends on how hard they bumped it. If they barley rubbed it and the bumper is rubber I am assuming then it would only scuff it and not dent it. Now if they bumped it and had a lot of force when they bumped it then it could dent it too. It wouldnt total the vehicle or anything. I know when someone backed into my Celica it cost $1,275 to fix the damage. The damage was only on the fender and part of the door. That was also a couple years ago.

AGAIN ARE YOU A BROKER? IF SO YOUR HAULER NEEDS TO BE GIVING THE ANSWERS ON HERE. I,LL SAY THE SAME THOUGH.IT SHOULD BE AS SIMPLE AS HAVING AN ADJUSTER FROM HIS INSURANCE COMPANY GO OUT AND GIVE AN ESTIMATE ON THE CAR.I JUST WENT THROUGH THIS.

Also if their insurance company looks at it they will only pay for the damage that was caused by bumping it against the trailer. Any other damage they wont pay for.

That is from the experience I had when my car got backed into also. I have a custom paint job on it and they wouldnt pay for a coomplete paint job so I just had to deal with the crappy spot job they did when they tried to match the color of the paint.

Yes, there are 2 sides to this and all situations! I had a body shop at the pickup and he advised me not to settle for $400. It did much more damage than that. I asked for their insurance company to come out, no reply. You decide if you want your $35000 car transported by Mitten Express.

ACCIDENTS DO HAPPEN, PLEASE KEEP US UP TO DATE ON HOW THIS CO ENDS UP SETTLING THIS CLAIM, THAT INFORMATION WILL BE VERY VALUABLE IN MAKING A DECISION ON WEATHER TO USE THE CO. :)

i beleive it is the price he is saying cause around christmas was at grocery store and employ dinged door of my work truck barely noticeable i told manager just cause it was right to straighten out the employee he told me to get 2 est. long story short nickle side dent netted me $465 dollars

i guess the next question is , was all the damage getting repaired done by hauler or was there ANY previous damage , gotta get all out in the clear if your gonna mess up someones reputation..only fair to both parties,,,,Paul

Something aint right with these estimates. Why would a body shop repair a steel bumper??

it is NOT a steel bumper it is a fiberglass bumper. There was NO previous to the car. The car is for sale at 35000. that should tell you about the quality of the car.

if the car had great damage to it you would think the car hauling co. would have took a picture of it before it was loaded. Everybody has a camera phone.

Yeah I would think so to protect themselves.
