We traded a 4000.00 blower for what was supposed to be a complete motor race ready ad #1280424 What we got was a junk motor that has a craced block & nothing on the motor that he has listed or what the pic shows!!!!!!! Do not do business with this guy he is a rip off We took pics of the motor we got & anyone with any common sense can see the differance.PLEASE READ THIS AND BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!

The motor you recived is not junk. I bought it from A guy and listed it just as he had it listed.. It is not cracked there is nothing wrong with the motor
I am not a motor builder and do not know much about internal parts of a motor I was simply going by what He said when I bought it. I do know that I saw the motor running two days before he pulled it.. I am not a scammer I have tried to help every way possible when you guys had the shipping messed up for over a month. I sat at the house waiting and waiting I did everything I could do to help you guys and then you post something like this.. I have plenty of references and have traded many cars and parts with no complaints but i guess there has to be a bad apple in the bunch..

The motor you recived was not Junk and the picture in the add was for reference only.. You were aware of that per one of our many phone coversations prior to the motor purchace.. If you want set up shipping and you can have another motor picked up. But you are responsable for shipping just as I was for the blower.. If you want to get down to it the add you had posted for the blower was very misleading. I did not recieve the carbs in the picture. I recived two junk carbs that were no good, the studs on the intake were stripped out, the blower leaked oil, the bolt holes for the carbs didn't line up and were also stipped out and the intake was cracked by the front bolt holes and three of the runners.. if you did use it at all it must have been 10 yrs ago. I also have pitcures of this and made note with the UPS driver.

Oh yea, You did mess up on the shipping or was that just an excuse to try and get some money from me. First off you stated that there was a cod charge of $303 that you were supposed to pay to be sent to me and then you had it taken care of. Then some excuse that you paid it and I needed to wire you the $303 and you would send me a copy of the check?? Sounds like a scam to me. How is that when YOU set up ALL the shipping? Also How can I cancel the shipping when you again set it up. Thats pretty lame! I was here for many hours at a time waiting for a truck to show up. First no lift gate and then no truck, no phone call and then no truck and so on. It really seems to me that you guys are the ones trying to scam people..

is this why you sold the motor that we traded you for? with the blower i sent you? and than send me a blown up piece of junk? shipping was at your house many times and you weren't ...you said you were at work far away so you put it on your wife and others to handle it and nothing waited months on you to send it..and now we know why you were reselling it in another car with our blower

toTrade,did you already sell the blower? If so how did you let the buyer know that it was as bad as you said it was?

The blower is sold. It was sold locally to a guy for 750 bucks and he is the one who pointed out the cracked intake to me. YOU wanna talk charges we can do that I will also proceed.

send me a picture of the cracked billet aluminum intake....i would like to see it. and this is the first i have heard of it. i saw where you advertised the blower and the motor (that was supposed to be sent to me) on racing junk.

this is what we traded for and did not receive. we did the trade on 8-07-2008 and then it took until 10-01-2008 to get a junk motor. and we shipped out the blower in august and then in september another ad was posted by toTrade containing all the same information below including my blower and everything i sent with it and a car. ad # 1308745.

Can you post a picture of the engine he sent to you, Let us compare it to the pic in the ad. You also might need to post a picture of the engine he had for sale, the ad say's sold and no picture.

Per our phone coversation proir to the trade you knew that the picture was for reference only and that was not the motor you would recive. If you look clearly at the ad it wouldn't be the same motor. Also I didn't put anything on my Wife.. You knew I was at work, The motor that was sold with the 68 is a different motor and how can I get a picture of the crack on the intake if I dont have it anymore.. As far as shipping I was here. Like I said There is nothing wrong with the motor you received.

You really need to get you facts correct. You know just as well as I do there where problems with the shipping company and that I waisted many hrs waiting on them.

Lets see why dont you explain the $303 COD deal or should i say the scam you tried to pull on me by having your son call me and say that I needed to wire you 303 bucks because you had to pay some COD charge even though you set up shipping and that after I wired you the money you would send me a copy of a check ????.

yes i have that $303 on paper from the shipping company and if was bc you didn't or wouldn't confirm the c.o.d deal ..so they charge me 2 times and it has been dealt with ...i have every paper from day one..no we were not informed you posted a different picture than listed in the ad trust me when i say we don't need any junk or stock motors and would not have did this deal..and i have the pics of the other ad with that picture of the motor in another ad that said sold ...with "MY BLOWER" any more ????? and would be glad to post it so every one else can see it and match it up also ...and any racer can look at these pics and your listed parts in the ad and see there not there..that this is just a stock junk motor..

I don't know what kinda tricks your trying to pull but that is not what that engine looked like when I shipped it out or you recieved it. It looks like you put some crap in the oilpan and then poured it on the bearings and piston.. Oil pump and mains dont have any stuff on them. I guess you should pour some on that to and then take another picture.. because i know what it looked like! You know keep posting and I'll keep trading. I have a lot of references of people I have traded with.

I will send you another spark plug but it wasn't broken when it left..

I also sent you a copy of the email to the shipping company saying I was not owed any money.. What next.

...we have a 5 car race team NHRA ...why would i do anything to this motor..these pics were taken upon arrival and yes i took pics of it for proof unlike your new complaint about my blower ......

Thats fine I will also File charges. For the carbs, Cracked intake, oil leak and ect.. Even the ups guy was mad about the oil everywhere...

like i said it has been all paid by me and dealt with..if you didn't avoid my previous phone calls you would have known that. but since i told you about the motor you have avoided me and i even tried to give you time to make it right as you said you would on the phone with the right motor but never heard anything else from you till i posted what you are and what you do to people and i hope to god people read this bc if they deal with you they will be next to go though this

can't wait to see you in court hope you took pics of every thing as i did of the junk motor and the blower before it left my hands bc of something like this i would have made things right unlike you i been doing things on here and racing my whole life and i would make things right if something happen in shipping but if you got insurance you would have been taking care of...i always take pic of every thing just in case something was to happen..and i have the pics off your other add with the motor in the pic of the ad we traded for ..and you posted my blower with it ...and we had the blower checked before it was shipped

You had STATED that you would send a set of good gas carbs over the phone. The carbs you send are JUNK..

please do i also have an nhra certified engine builder and race track inspector that inspected this blower before shipment bc i don't sell or trade junk..

i would like to know and im sure everyone else would also like to know why would you state my stuff is junk 2 months after you received it? and then sold it instead of sending it back to me or telling me there was an issue?

seriously my blowed up Junk looks 500% better than that.

For the record ..i been in this race game for 30 yrs..and i can assure you the Chit picutred on that bottom end is something you cannot just pour on it..that stuff is miles and miles of abuse and sludge....my observation only.

i am not saying what engine is what..i am just stating what i see in the pictures posted.

Buyer Boonesracing, any chance that you took screen prints of the ad and description before the trade? A print of the web page should contain the URL on the bottom and a date. This would validate the ad and what was listed, before any changes.

Take the ad as stated and the motor to your machine shop. Have them disassemble the engine and compare the parts as removed to the parts in the ad. While the seller may claim the item may not be the one shown, he is obligated to provide the parts in as stated condition. If there is no hardcopy documentation appending the ad before you paid then the sale item is as stated.

My assumption is that based on pics, you did not get what was advertised. Did you pay with a USPS money order? If you have been able to prove that what was sent was not what was advertised and used a USPS MO, I believe that is mail fraud.

Same procedures now apply-Notify his state's attorney general officially as to what has occured. If he is an LLC or any official business with a separate EIN then you can file claim-again I believe.

Contact USPS and report the mail fraud if applicable.

You claim to have an attorney-thats good and expensive.

Call your local court house and find out home much can go through small claims court. File a claim there. Its usually pretty cheap. Find out if you can have him served with a summons-since he is out of state see if it can be transferred from your local sheriff to the sheriff in his county. Ideally you want him served at work so that everyone at his business knows about it. Require him to defend in your state-its unlikely he will show, so you should get a default judgement-then when you do request a garnishment of wages-transferred to his state.

The thing about the threat of legal action is the other party will always bet that you wont follow through so you need to do some homework and chase him on your own first-each move you make must be well thought out and require that he make a precise counter-move.

Since you made a trade and he made a sale-possibly at a profit-discuss with your accountant to see how you need to report on your taxes and if you can, report him as the buyer to ensure that he is completing 1040 and attachments correctly-Not sure if you can connect him to your deal officially-but try. The IRS sniffs like a hound and if they catch wind that he is not reporting income, they will do more damage then your attorney ever could.

Dedicate yourself to the pursuit and do so at 100%, most people dont have the stomach for a war-make it one.

I cant gaurantee success but I can gaurantee satisfaction.
