They contacted me also last week, I need to get on the ball and get those papers out. I'm glad they caught these 2 a**holes. Unfortunately I doubt we can any of our money back :cry:

To get the money back if the judge ordered it then stay on the parol officer that they are not paying or contact the agency handling the case again...Those people just love making it hard on crooks, just like I do....Good luck to all...Keep us informed please.

I called him twice and left 2 messages, he is not returning calls, hopefully he's just on the job under cover as we speak and will bust this A#$hole

I HAVE CALLED THE POSTAL INSPECTOR IN NEW YORK ALSO , HASN'T CALLED BACK YET. DID THEY GET BOTH OF THEM?

From what I understand, they busted and put away his worthless P.O.S. brother but Michael is still at large, I know that cause the C#$%sucker just ripped me last Fri. 8/17. what i dont understand is why Mr Lamb doesnt return my calls I am probably one of his latest victims and the longer he screws around the colder his trail gets!

Has anyone heard anything about this case latley or has anyone gotten any of their money back? I haven't heard SQUAT in months! :evil:

I talked to Inspector Lamb way back in mid Sept. He said an arrest was coming and that he would let me and other victims know when it happens. I am not holding my breath tho, it seems like any and all agencies that are Govt. related move at a snails pace. As far as my money, I have written that off and so should you, You are never going to see it again, but I hope I'm wrong.

This is unreal, They have been watching this Piece of Sh** scam people out of their hard earned money for a while now. How many more people have to get scammed before they get this Basta** Get him already and lock his A** up!!!!! GRRRRRRR So Frustrating

He got me for $1200 last week. He was suppposed to send me a new Richmond 6 speed trans COD but after checking with UPS (supposedly) he said it would delay his receipt of funds for too long, so I went ahead and sent him a $1200 deposit, with the balance to be paid COD upon receipt of the trans.

This guy HAS to be stopped. My local Law Enforcement agency has all the details on my failed transaction and they are working on it. I will share any information I have for anything anyone else has.

Hi it's bbms1000 I talked with you yesterday 11-27-07 [email protected] I also called Mr Lamb with no return phone call as of today but he may be way backed up with this guy and people coming forth. I sure hope they get this kid and get him straited out. When Mr. Lamb calls me back I will also post info so they can stop this crap. 8)

I just read on another post that he has been arrested. Is this true? Does anyone else know anything about this? Please let us know.

Greeting to all. It's time to resurrect this thread with an update.

I was just notified by the court today:

Defendant JOHN AVILES was sentenced by the Court. Court ordered the defendant to the following:

Incarceration of 8 month(s)
Followed by Supervised Release of 36 month(s)


No money ever returned but playing house with a few of the boys for eight months is a good start.

Just got an email a few minutes ago. Michael Aviles was tried and convicted and sentenced to 24 months in jail, 24 months probation and ordered to repay the 3 grand he stole from me. Now I'm not holding my breath on that part but at least he's going to JAIL!

My guess is you will never see your money again. I have been chasing a $3000 judgement for over a year now, it is the courts that have caused the greatest difficulty in getting my money. It is always fill this out, fill that out, send him a copy, let him file......da da da da bull----! I proved my case, representing myself in front of a judge. I won, now it is jump through the hoops time!! I mean damn, I won, give me my money or his stuff!! I have around $1000 in trying to collect $3k, with most being in legal fees or court costs. When do you give up?

Too bad it isn't 100 years ago, we would band together and go get our stuff ourselves. Thanks to LIBERAL America we can no longer do that.

I just got the same E-Mail.He was ordered to pay me $2075.00,I probably will never see a penny of that.But he is still going to prison...I hope he rots there..

I got another E-Mail,it says Michael Aviles is currently incarcerated at FDC Miami,and is to be released on 10/07/2009.He is not eligible for parole.This was from John T Ratham-Warden ,Correctional Programs Branch..I don't know how long he has been there.(Not long enough tho.)

Oh yeah, Federal bang me in the a$$ prison, just what he deserves, too bad it's not for longer. He'll Probably have BITCH tatooed on his back when he gets out. :D

I heard ol' Mikey got picked up again and is supposed to be headed to the pen for a long time.

My guess is he violated his probation/parole terms, headed back like a moth to the flame again.
