Got something to say???Spit it out! :D I never said I didn't joke around with the guy.But some of the things said were "ridicule" ,not poking fun.

You know, I always reply to everyone with the intent of providing as much accurate, and responsible advice as possible. When a guy keeps rejecting the information he's getting and insist's on telling me something I know is BS then I'm pretty much done. If it continues, the next step is poking fun and if a guy can't tell the difference between a Troll and a legitimate racer with an issue then God help you.

I'm saving my time and advice for someone who really needs the help!

Do I have somthing I want to say, you bet. First off, Iwanna make it clear that I have a great deal of respect for both cepx111 & olds48. With that said...cepx111 wanted my post deleted, I took exception to it! And since olds48 has decided to take up his banner, I assume that he wants it deleted also. I didn't read Charles's post as an attack on any one certain post by any particular person. I think he was just saying the whole thread in general. I am guilty as anyone of poking fun at this thread but he is right. ..I am surprised a moderator hasn't stopped us before now to be honest. This board has never been about cutting other people down...it is about racers helping other racers and everyone learning from each other...if it were I would be cut to shreds cause there is waaay more knowledgeable people here than me.
I think that's all he was getting at. He wasn't singleing anyone out.

Hey S-bomb, notice that my post says "OUR place".I have to admit that I started the joking,I just didn't expect it to go this far.

And I believe Tod74 is right about CEPX11.He meant the thread in general.As far as deleting your post...your are free to say what you wish.Voice your opinion,because that is exactly what I plan on doin'.When I asked you to spit it out,I wasn't trying to be a jerk.I just wasn't sure what you were trying to say.But now we know :D All is good ,and I believe he is trolling,too.Looks like he got us on this one :oops:

For the record..a moderater ( me) has been reading this entire thread (each page).....as a matter of fact i tried to give the guy some good advise MYSELF in the begining only to get turned away and told he was a mechanic...

This thread started out as helpful advise but was not taken...the bad part here is that the man kept coming back with outlLandish problems asking for advise only to tell people implied or not he knew what he was doing beacuse he was a mechanic ( so whats the point :?: )

As a mod i have seen nothing SOOO bad that the thread needs to be locked or deleted..and i can do both...

If you come upon a thread that you disagree with...just don't participate at 1st..then if you find it that offensive then report it to me or another mod..just don't expect drastic measures if something is in good faith,gray,borderline...We are a place to help but to also have fun..keep this in mind please.

i can assure you EVERYONE will be treated fairly in every post...orginator or responder...

Just be advised of one main thing..." Dont ask if you are afraid to be told the truth"........there is room here for all.

I agree...good post. I get that at work sometimes.. ( I set up cnc tube benders and am in charge of my department so it is my job to help)someone having trouble asks me for help and then wants to debate every suggestion I make...makes me so mad I could spit. I just walk away and let them fight with it.

i had near new lifters in mine - new cam, rockers push rods,and rockers valves-ect...
ran great for like 20 miles or so then stomped on it hard- 7 lifters became as solids! :evil: -- froze solid- bent 7 push rods 7 valves, and 7rocker nuts
put in new comp lifters never had a prob after that!
so i understand some of what happned to u

that's exactly what happened,it was like solid lifters.when mine froze it wore the cam and bent a valve.and the rockers were wore from no oil (i ran 30 laps)and kept moving side to side and the nuts would back off.a lunati cam and lifters,locking rollor rockers,and a valve done the trick.the dead plugs(oringinal prob.) dist. was bad.thanks for advice
