Dart or world block only for the 4.500 bore

I agree that a dart block is the way to go. I used a 502 gm block with a 4.25 stroke and 4.530 bore to make a 548. It was 868hp and the block help up fine.

I'm working on a Dart Big M now with a cracked oil galley. It's leaking oil into the coolant passage.

JMO - Max reccomended on truck block is 4.25 with steel rods at 2.10 journal (SBC size).
