Probably but I'd rather have a cool engine and a low battery as to a spun bearing in an engine and a good battery. LOL

I don't mind the toggle, but I guess it depends on the individual. I had thought of using a set up, so it comes on and off when I finally drive mine on the street. I think the one I saw came on at 210 F and then shut off at 190 F.......don't know anything else about them though...I just have a toggle for now

Maybe the sensor you have is not working properly anymore..??

Install the toggle horizontally left of the steering wheel. Hitch a string to the switch and the door when you open the door the string will shut the toggle off. Its that easy ..... You guys need to use your head a little. (Now dont think i am serious)

Flex-a-lite makes an adjustable thermostatic switch that works well and it's not that expensive. The flex-a-lite number is 31147 and you should be able to buy one for under 30 bucks.
