Check out this site. I had it sent to me and they had everything you would need for the swap already pulled out and ready to ship.

Assuming he doesn't have state inspection or emission testing... I agree.

Carb is the way to go not doubt, but it sounded like he was dead set on FI ing it so I went that way.

We live in rural shelby county Tn, no emissions here yey anyway, I yanked the tired EFI 5.0 out of the boys stang - went clip, clip to about 300 wires and slapped a carbed 351W in it, pretty easy swap save for the fuel system, had to sump the tank, mount a conventional electric pump, plumb it up the way to the engine bay, dropped the a/c and the smog pump and stuck a C4 where the AOD once lived.
It runs some respectable times for a small camed street motor, 7:50's 1/8 on a good day.

I think im goin have to take a long hard time and think about the EFI. The more info i get from here makes me think that way and my wallet is tellin me that too. im not goin for anything to crazy(as much as i want to) just getting bored and needed a new project. might jsut have to wait till next project for the EFI. time will tell

You could always go the route of "Megasquirt" fuel injection.

Google it. I plan on using it for my next project, if I can ever sell the GMC.

Thanks for the heads up on the "Megasquirt" OneBad. little to much to read here at work wont get anything the rest of the night but i will deffintly look into it later tonight. And by the way i would happly buy the GMC but i dont think my little piggy bank has enough in it to cover the bill
