hmm new part to the forum for ls motors ... lets take a head count how many have ls's on here just wondering :?:

I had one in a 98 Z/28, that car had the best sounding stereo, of any automobile I've ever heard. It was the only thing on the car that worked on a regular basis.

nice addition to the site. super chevy for sept. has an article in it about ls engines. 400cid, twin 88 turbos and 2,050 hp at 7,140rpm and 25lbs of boost. GMPP put it in a full frame 96 impala ss built just for this engine. from the front vue of the car, looks pretty wicked with skinnys up front and what looks like fairly wide tires out back.

P.S, corvette motor |
IF I REMEMBER RITE, THE ONE TONS KEPT THE 5.7 & 7.4 TILL THE MODEL CHANGE IN 2002 & CAB & CHASSIS IN 2003. YUP THE LS IS THE CORVETTE DESIGN. THE EARLY LS MADE PISTON SLAP NOISE WHEN COLD BUT HAVE SEEN THEM WITH 200,000 ONE THEM WITH NO PROBLEMS

Wife bought a 98 Camaro new in 99. Has the LS1 in it. 160,000 miles and has been in the shop only once. Hope I didn't speak to soon. It's totally bone stock, unmolested. It is a Z28, with NO p/w,p/locks, cruise-nothing but T-Tops and A/C.
