Oh man, but it looks so cool yanken them up, Ive seen guys at our track lift them past the sixty foot mark and run deadon evertime, but your right, your at the mercy of the backtires if it decides to go one way or the other, the steering wheel is pretty much useless then.

If it were me I would go with a CV products filter adapter. They come in various sizes as far as the filter they use. Quality billet parts not sand cast crap like so many out there. Here is mine...

You are right in that it is VERY exciting to watch !! There are several vids out there of the Wheel Stand Nationals and some of the sky crawling is WILD !! I'd surely do it if I built a purpose built car with the expectation that it could be totaled ! WHAT A RUSH to be seeing sky and going forward at a rapid rate at the same time !

NEVER USE A FRAM
 
MY 377 carries 40 lbs oil preasure at idle - PLUGED BYPASS - changed the oil and installed a FRAM OIL FILTER - oil pressure to 21 lbs at idle - reved to 3000 had 22 lbs - wow i got a problem - changed the oil filter back to a NAPA PRO SELECT and the oil pressure was right back up to 40 lbs - fram is junk and you can take that to the bank - :lol: = VIC
