should I drain it after I start it up for the first time in the garage or after the first pass at the track? thanks
|
I'm with Charles.Fire it up and make all your adjustments you want to do.Timing,valves.....then dump the break in oil right away. Before it sees the trailer. One thing to look at,some cylinder heads hold alot of oil in them that won't drain back.Pop the valve covers off and wipe that junk out, too. That's what I've always done. Then try to kill it!If it's brand new it is in the best shape of it's life,go for it!And let us know when you set that record :D 1st Fiero in the 10s,right??

thanks for the help everybody, I should be good to go now!
Ill be the last one to start competing for the 10sec mark but you can bet your ass Ill be the first 10sec transverse fiero! one of the other competitors made one 11.3sec run then messed up his engine because of poor turbo tuning   until I get this one to the track 11.302 is the time to beat. 8) |
