SINGLE TUBRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! David. Its strip/STREET.
|
I would think twice about the stock internal parts. If the money is there, I would even think about an aftermarket block too.
If you really want to run all of the OEM parts then go with a single turbo and keep the boost light. |
If i change to the rods below would that be better for the bottom end they are forged? Should i also change the crank? its goin to be a low compression engine.

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku What about this Crank? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...6&autoview=sku The rods you picked out are bottom of the barrel. You may as well be running bone stock rods. LT1 'pink' rods may even be a step up. For the mild application you're wanting, buy Eagle brand. You can find decent brand new Eagle rods right here on RJ for about 300.00. Crank must be forged for it to live. Save your pennies and do it right, or do it cheap and do it twice! |
I know i sound really cheap! Im tryin to put together a decent engine on a small budget! thanks for all the help! is this a upgrade from the other rods
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...W&autoview=sku so a forged crank is the way to go! Wow they are crazy expensive the kinda of money im spending here should have me in the 10s on motor! |

The lower end quality determines whether you make it down the track without needing a tow back. It does no good to make 1000 HP if it only stays together for 2 seconds after you whack the throttle. |
Alright Im go to strenghen the bottom end with all forged parts! any recommendations for rods and crank? And still i need help with what size turbos to go with to get to my goal!

For the turbo, there's tons of people out there who specialize in them. Dan Saitz has a great reputation in St. Louis. http://www.hyperformanceracing.com/ |
