Ed If I send you one of my Venolia pistons, could you have a set made to match, would the weight difference be enough to have the rotating assy rebalanced?

Possibly or should I say it is likely it will need to be re-balanced but who knows until the two different piston weights are compared. I have seen some pistons that as they were for waht they were ended up just being too heavy and others are very very light so I do not know your answer.

Some percentages of either an over-balance or an under-balance are acceptable and some guys do this intentionally too. Pro Stock engines are Under-balanced some intentionally.

A mold of your combustion chamber would really be helpful. If it is a standard and known chamber shape it is ok without it though. If your heads are reloacted forward or to the rear or if your valve spacing or valve angles are other than factory we would need to know to get the valve reliefs right. Valve angles sizes placements etc. iF what you have is fairly standard there is no need. We have done these in one of a kind heads so that is why I am asking.
